what year fuel injection started?

Anyone know what year HD started using FI instead of carbs?

I believe HD went to full fuel injection in '06. Before that it was offered as an option on most models. But since '06, that's what you get... I think, not 100% on the year though.

You might be close bro . Cause I once coulda bought a sportster that was said to be injected . Might have been aftermarket though. ........... And to all those guys saying 06 or 07 , My Deluxe is an 05 and it was an option then . Mines injected ...................But I'd rather be blown

I have an '06 Fat Boy that's F.I....other than that I'm dumb!
