I sometimes wonder why it has to be so expensive to travel when lot of us have extra rooms in our homes and can lodge a couple of couples for a night or two and in return they would lodge my wife and I at their homes at some other date. Great way to see the continent.
Is there such a registry?
We live in Edmonton Alberta and travel south a lot. We on the other hand would like to host a some people from ??? that are on their way to the Rockies or the "Mall" or elsewhere.
That is a hell of an idea.....for those that have the room........my next house will have an extra room just in case I have visitors drop in......I hate like hell putting people on the couch.
