Default How much would you pay?
I'm looking at a 08 street bob with around 100 miles on it. It is basically stock. It appears someone dropped it because there are some scratches on the pipes and one on the valve cover. Nothing to bad though.

It's a used bike. I wouldn't pay anymore then 4k off what a new one would cost. Then add to that what the parts and dealer labor would cost to get the damaged stuff fixed.

+1 on that, or try to get it for even less.

First, find out if the owner has filed an insurance claim. Here in NC if there is so much as a scratch on the frame the bike is considered totaled. Also, you might be surprised how little it costs to replace the damaged parts. I dropped mine once in a parking lot and it cost about $200 to replace the damaged parts (handle bars, turn signal, mirror, clutch lever). I thought it was going to be much worse. If it's not too expensive you might get a really good deal on the bike. You might even get away with just replacing the damaged heat shield on the exhaust.

Is the bike at a dealer or private and how much is the asking price?

It's a dealer and they are asking $12,9 which is craziness.
