Need help guys...just picked up an 08 cop king a week ago. Today I started idling really high and have an indicator light coming on I'm not familiar with, its not listed in the manual either, (its not the engine indicator) its in the bottom left of the speedo and it looks like a litle speedometer with an arrow pointing to it, it also lights up (same icon) on the tach. I'm probably gonna feel like a jackaZZ but I don't have a clue what this indicator means,,,please help
u should have a diagnostic code on your bike to tell you what the prob is..if the engine light comes back on after u start it then it can tell u..if thats the case..turn ignition off for 2 secs and back on again and count the flashes (usually 2 sequences)..u may need a workshop manual tell u the prob
I don't know if cop bikes have cruse controls but my RKC has it
and the indicator is in the bottom left of the spedo. the color may
tell you something the normal cruse control "on" color is what I call
orange when the cruse is set the color will be green. However if I was
in your shoe's I would ride it down to the dealership and ask the service
writer what it is.
Thanks Guys, indicator is cruise. Also the high idle, if you rev it and shut it off the ecm adjusts a higher idle at next start up. The fix...turn ignition swith on and off 5x then start. ECM resets. Thanks for responding!
