My cruise control light keeps flashing in the off position. Seems after the bike is warmed up after 20 or so miles, it stays out but not always. The cruse control still works, but I cannot shut it off from the switch when the light flashes. Think this is just a bad switch?
Quote from another thread:
In the manual for the 08 Ultra it says that the Engine Idle Temperature Management System comes disabled from the factory. To enable it it says to turn the ignition on, do not start the engine, roll off the throttle for 3 seconds and the cruiselight will flash green. The same procedure will disable it by flashing the cruiselight red.
I took it to the dealer today. Looks like it is a bad switch in the handle bar. They are ordering a new switch and will put in on in the spring. I put the bike up for the winter today, I am sad!
