Corbin Backrest - Quick removal
Just wondering if the Corbin driver's backrest requires seat removal to detach or it is relatively quick and easy? I've got a Mustang driver's backrest for the bagger that I can simply take on and off in a snap. I am thinking about adding a Corbin backrest to the softail, but it appears that you might need to remove the seat and need a wrench to it to get it off. I'd like to only use it occasionally, so easy on and off would be plus. Thanks in advance

The Corbin backrest is secured to the seat with an allen head screw. On my dual tour seat, the backrest can be removed from both the front and rear location without removing the seat from the bike. This will require the use of an allen wrench.

You need to remove the seat to remove the allen screw. Or leave the allen screw out when you install the backrest, and it will just slip on and off. Makes it easy to steal too.
