So I pulled my bike out of the garage to snap a few pictures in preparation for putting it on Craigslist. Got it out, put it on the stand, got the front tire turned straight for a side picture, turned around to grab the camera... hear a sound... look over my shoulder to see the bike heading for the ground in slow motion. What an idiot!

Only damage was to the left rear turn signal- gotta replace that. But no other scratches or damage. I'm counting myself lucky.

Experience is the best teacher-- especially if it's someone else's!

Glad it wasn't damaged too bad. Why did it fall over? Stand not down all the way?

The stand must not have been locked.

So you think you can just use a Harley for your own pleasure, riding the best years out of her. And then just kick her to the curb. Bad Karma.

I would say there was more damage to the ego than the bike.

Always leave it in 1st gear so it won't slide forward & fall.
