Permatex Threadlocker RED
I have never thought about it before, but is prematex red thread locker the same same red loctite? I look on prematex's website, and could not find anyway of comparing the strength to loctite. I am mounting a new rear sprocket and it calls for red loctite.

Yes it is the same product.
Pay close attention to torque specs. A guy we talked to at P.O.T. in Orlando did not make it on his bike because the sprocket sheared off the wheel on the trip down. The dealer told him that who ever put the custom billet wheel on over torqued the bolts on the sprocket cusing it to fail. It happened on the interstate at 75 MPH and lucky for him he just lost power and was able to coast to the side of the road.
