Got a pair or those myself with the removable flannel liner. Warm as hell when it is in the high 20's - low 30's. Hands get a little numb though....!

I don't know the area too well, but I'm sure there's someone here from the central KY area that could recommend a good shop for ya. If there's no one local around for ya, though, Fox Creek Leather, as some recommened, would be the best to order from. They'll be able to get ya pretty close to what you need over the phone.

Try Fox Creek Leathers or Langlitz Leathers. Both will make chaps to your measurements.

All I have to say is buy a quality pair that fits you well. I am short at 5'4" and about 130. If I dont wear chaps I would burn my leg on my tailpipes, as well as buy many pairs of jeans because my 89 Sporty is territorial and covers my legs in oil as we ride. Oh what fun.

Ultra110 I have to go and dig my eyes out of me head now.lol that is just wrong

I went to a local leather shop and they set me up right with chaps. I only wear them on long trips, cold and rainy days.

I had to order a bigger size in the waist so they would fit my legs. Took it to a saddlemaker and he fixed the waist. Looks very professional, and they work great. I know you got some leather workers in KY.

What he said- I followed their guide on how to measure online, ordered and they fit perfectly. If you're an odd size I believe they'll make some to fit you. The FC chaps are good and heavy, warm, too.

Just like everyone else has stated, go to a quality leather shop, most carry chaps and they'll size you up. I did that, they sized them, cut them and hemmed them on the spot. I only wear mine either when it's so damn cold or when it's raining. Way I look at it, if you don't like the way I look when i'm wearing them, don't look at me and if you don't have anything good to say, keep your pie hole shut....

When you take the measurements or try some on, have all the stuff on your belt and in your pockets that you normally would carry. Don't ask me how I know!!

I don't know how far of a ride it is, but Fox Creek's store is in Independence, VA. If they don't have your size there, they'll custom make them for you. They also give you 10% off for going to their location rather than mail ordering.
