Default Tire Shine, what do you use?

I was just curious... What dooes everyone use to shine your rubber and how you apply it?

Soap and water and that's it. Shiny tires are slippery tires.

I've heard of people using Armorall on show bikes, but the idea gives me the creeps.

I read that all wrong.. How do I shine my rubbers? eh I have the little missus for that....... err uhh wait...... are you talking about tires... Don't shine them at all.. You can if you want. Go ahead armor all the hell out of them.

Just please don't ride around me when you do.

I used to spray on some tire shine from time to time, now I just use the power spray at the car wash. Try not to get any on the tread when you spray it, or just take it real easy going around the block a couple of times until you wear it off that tread. It can look sharp and show bikes do it all the time.

I use tire black BUT I always spray on rag then apply to sidewall only never on tread I know saftey nazies say not to because it is slick.If your extra careful and dont ride on sidewalls you should be fine.

Seriously, who the hell would put tire shine on a bike they actually ride? Go ahead and put some on the seat why your at it.

never, never, never use any tire shine products on motorcycle tires....unless you like sliding on the pavement.....
