Myrtle Beach is closed?
There's 4 or 5 of us that are planning to be leaving early Saturday morning...from...Zebulon. (small world) Going just for the day.The first week is always slower there. This weekend is when it usually picks up. I'm not worried one bit about any cops down there as we're staying out of the city limits.
I believe that's what they're doing.

IMFUO, someone down there musta 'fingered' it out. For whatever reason (????
) Myrtle Beach is running "Vaction HERE" ads, WAY UP HERE in Minnesota. THAT has NEVER happened, B4. Been tv, radio, and print ads, all over, the past week or so. BUT NO mention of 'bikes welcome', like SoDak, Wi., Iowa, run in their ads. Myrtle Beach is running 'beach' and 'golf' ads in theirs."F" Myrtle Beach. They'd have to send me a personal invite, just to show up, let alone, spend any of my $$ there. THAT ain't gonna happen, so, neither am I.
I am NOT saying they do not have a legitimate beotch, just that I feel they went at it a li'l heavy handed. Sturgis went thru this, years and years ago. But 'cooler' heads prevailed, and compromises made. Think Buffalo Chip and Glencoe.
They moved IT (party, puking, pottying and "pubic" nudity
) to private property. Keep it there, and you are FREE to roam, jus' like the buffalo. But to be fair, Sturgis makes the VAST majority of their $$, from the rally. NOT a lot of golfers running 'round out there. THANK GOD!!!!!
We shipped ALL them, AND the snowbird silverhairs, to MYRTLE BEACH!!!!!! (OR Arizona and Florida
) YOU RIDE with them!!!!!!
MB is afraid of the NAACP so that had to attack the HD rally so as to make them not look so bad.

.
lots of cops just watching.
The new Beaver Bar is nice, just down the street from the old one. Outside City limits everything is normal bike week stuff. Talked with a few store owners from MB, they are
ready to give the mayor the boot.
We rode about 500 miles while down there, no issues at all.
