I wear the same pants whether riding, going to a funeral, and even my own wedding (three weeks ago today). Genuine HD denim. They are comfortable and they seem to be fairly durable. I know they ain't made in the USA, but it's tough to find anything that is any more.

It is your choice, but it is not hard to find American made jeans at all. A quick search on google will bring up dozens of companies here in the US that make jeans. I do not mean to be critical of your choice, it is your business. But I did just want to point out the companies are out there and I am sure would appreciate your business.
Personally I like Diamond Gusset jeans, I wear both the kevlar lined and normal jeans. It is nice not having the boys smashed while riding or sitting for long periods of time. www.gussetjeans.com

Glad to hear it. I cannot comment on the comfort compared to HD jeans because I have never worn them. I will say I am disappointed that so much of the Harley line of merchandise and parts are made overseas. It is not just that I like to keep American businesses and American workers employed, but to me it is also a tremendous waste of resources to ship everything thousands of miles across the ocean when it could be made right here. The price of the Gusset jeans is inline with most of the foreign made products and I just do not understand why the major store chains in this country do not stock many American made clothes at all. It is very disappointing.
The Gusset jeans I own have lasted very well. Unfortunately (well sort of) I lost some weight recently so I am going to have to order some more. The gusset does its job, I can actually pull the pants up without having to worry about damaging my ability to reproduce when I sit down .
I was looking for Kevlar made in the USA. I'm still looking around, But the UK sales Kevlar everyday to the USA biker. In there jeans, shirts and jackets.
I wear pants...Levis...when I get on the bike, I guess they become my riding pants...I guess my Jockey underwear would then become my riding underwear...it's so difficult keeping up with technology and the fashion police these days... :- )
so true night trian
i'm just wondering how many times a week these guys fall off thier bikes

That is funny, because I was wondering how many times some of you have had your *** arms back etc scrapped along the pavement at a high rate of speed soon to be followed by a nice washing from a mean woman with a wire brush that may spend the entire time telling you how stupid you are for riding a motorcycle. Not that that has happened to me or anything
In all seriousness, I do not really care what other dudes decide to put on or not put on for protection. I also do not understand why people feel the need to try to appear superior and make fun of those that make different choices then they do, but I am tired of thinking about that one. I do believe mocking those that choose to protect themselves is probably doing a disservice to those that may read this thread and are trying to make a decision on how much protection they may need.
