Just Wonderin'

Just curious what the rest of you guys and gals do with your oem exhaust when you change them out. I've always left them with the dealer. Don't know if they had any value and didn't want to add more junk to the garage.

keep them just in case more stupid laws come into existence. Change them out, get inspected, then put them back on

Take offs go into the box from the new part, marked with a sharpie for which bike it will fit then stored in the back of the shop...

'Ya, what the two people above said exactly. With the way the government's getting crazy with enforcing db violations and EPA crap, you'd better keep them, otherwise you'll be on e-bay in another year or two looking for a "stock exhaust" for your bike!

I kept mine for the same reason, also around here if you get an excessive noise fine you can usually get it cancelled if you show up at the cop shop with the bike nice and quiet, then back home to change it back.
