I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record on this, but go for it!! The very best "sounding" mufflers out there. Notice I didnt say the "loudest". Very deep rumble, and gets better and better as they get broke in.

I do have to agree, they are the best sounding mufflers out there.. But Damn! They are FUGLY! Way too big, almost like something you would see on a Goldwing. If I ever find a exhaust that sounds like them, but looks good. I will buy it.

That is the first time I have ever heard anybody call them fugly. Have any of you Monster owners ever been told your pipes are ugly? I'm just curious how many others feel those pipes are fugly. I think they are great looking and the best sounding pipe out there.

^ Personally, I've only seen them on a couple of bikes. I didn't think they were ugly, only that they seemed "very big!" I think for some folks, including me, they take a little getting used to visually. I did think they sounded good though!

When you guys bought your mo's do they come with head pipes or just the slip ons for $860? I want to get the black ones with the chrome tips, but if they are that expensive I will either go chrome or have my V&H heat shields ceramic coated to match. And where is the best price for a set? Thanks
