12 hours? Ride that bike down there sir! Make one of the other 13 drive the jeep.
Going way off topic here, but when I read this I could not help but picture a topless jeep with thirteen people in it, some strapped to the roll cage like I strap bags on my sissy bar. Sounds like the bike might be more comfortable
I miss the east coast in summer...the coast is actually warm and you can go into the water. Here it's cold on the coast and the water is freakin freezing...
Going to Emerald Isle this August . My family and I went there last year and loved it . I would love to have my bike with me . But I have to drive the Jeep loaded to the brim with all our beach gear . We usually have around 13 of us each time we go . We stay on the beach in a rented house every year . This year we're going a week later than usual , and saving almost $4000. bucks on the rental . They rent scooters on the island , so I would assume it's biker friendly and all . Missed my bike all week last year . So much to see , and having my bike would be fantastic . It takes us 12 hrs. to get there . But it would be worth the ride to have my bike with me . .................Maybe I'll get to do it one day ........Kev
I'm staying in a house w/ 25 people...I'm bringing 8 with my wife/kids/Gfs
I figure my wife and oldest boy can drive 2 cars down and I'll rent a van, throw the bike in there, along with the surfboards and everyone's stuff......
last time we drove down it was horrile how tightly everything was packed

Your wife and kids do not mind if you bring your GF along?
