Outer Banks Motorcycle friendly?

Just got back from Outer Banks. We road down from Ohio. Nice place. No problems with bikers. They seemed to be talking up their bike week and said it's going to be longer next year. Go up to Duck and Corolla area and rent a jeep to drive up on the beach where the wild mustangs run freely. Pretty cool!

haha they talk up the bike week there every year and say it's supposed to be bigger every year. It should be the biggest bike week in the world by now but it's still about the same as 3 years ago when I first went. Actually though I think I got an email from the dealer saying they might actually make bike week a real week this next time so that is something different I guess.
I say go down there when bike week is not going on, less traffic, same scenery. You may not get to see the 3 or 4 vendors that are there for bike week but I'm sure you can find something to buy.
