Default floorboard insert vibration question

Guys, switched my front floorboards to skull theme...compared to the stock that came with the boards, way more vibration reduction....
Wife rode the passenger floorboards with stock since spring...just bought the skull hd theme for her passenger boards..went for ride tonight she says my feet are numb from vibrating want the old ones back!!
What the ....so I check it out and yes the stock has an airspace in the rubber to allow for some movement...and when you put the chrome ones on..there is no big rubber ball vibration dampener like the front....checked buddies egclassic with nostalgic theme..no movement on passenger, lots on driver...
HElp...how can I get these things to have some dampening to them...they look so much better than stocker rubber....
Thanks.
ps this is on my 06 lowrider.

How about rubber spacers on the mounting bolts? That would isolate the entire footboard from the frame. May also be your cheapest solution.

Should be able to. The engines are rubber mounted.

Anyone have any thoughts on this - not sure how I would rubber isolate these without proper supports so they do not bend too much....
What would people suggest for isolators that might work? Thanks
