I have rush slipons on my 09 Heritage and the dealer said that I have #2 baffles. They are not too loud unless you really roll the throttle. But He said they make different baffles for quieter or louder sound so you may want yo go to their web site and see what they might offer.
I have the same slipons with the 1.75" baffles. They're quieter than the 2 or 2.25 baffles but still have a good rumble. Unfortunately for me they're still louder than I'd like. Definitely an improvement over the ones you have though. (I'm told that the 1.5" sound too high pitched, no bottom end or rumble.)
Simple,
Lower number = quieter sound.
Higher number = louder sound.
Don't pay someone to change baffles, makes you look lame.
Simple to do plus you keep extras to play with.
If you bought them then U should know they have 4different size baffles.
look up rush's web site and see which one u want.
If u didn't buy them and bought the bike used with them on it, then theres a bolt on the bottom on each pipe, take one out and pull out the baffle and measure which one u have.
then you can get a smaller size.
I have the 2" and love them, But they make 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2";
I have the 1.75" baffles and they sound great. I'm tempted to go to the 2" baffles when I trade into a dyna but I'm wondering if they will be too much. Will probably stick to the 1.75".
