How to convince the wife......

Try to get the wife to let me get a bike. Any tips?

If you have the $ & it doesn't put any financial stress on your family & young children are not an issue then just go out & bring one home.

Threaten to 'cut her off' in the bedroom..that should bring her to her senses!!!...or maybe she will dye laughing and you buy the bike with the insurance money..its a win win situation....

I just kept making 'subtle' hints for about 15 years. She finally said OK. Of course she won't ride nor will she let me take my kids for a ride, but at least my knees are in the breeze

I just said I gave up the old bike 18 years ago for her and the kids. I am turning 50 and now its my turn to get what I want. Oh and the word "please" was used a few times too!!
