I've been wanting to buy one but having a hard time finding one that fits my three main criteria.
1. Doesn't say Harley-Davidson on it anywhere (on the snaps is OK).
2. Traditional style.
3. Made in the USA.
The first two aren't that hard to find but the third is next to impossible
There are some really good ones out there from other manufactures but Damn.....$700.00 plus is hard to swallow. When I was younger and not growing like a friggin Chia Pet, maybe. Now, I might outgrow it in a year or two so don't want to break the bank buying one.
Guess I'll just keep buy the low cost stuff and replacing it after a few years when all the seams start coming apart.
Try Langlitz, Cool this about them is they can make adjustment as we sucumb Gray and Gravity. Or they sell very close to what you paid on e-bay.
Coltsfan it has to do with H-D's profit margin/greed. They can make more from a Pakistan jacket than a made in the U.S.A.
You see that is what puzzles me though. They have to know that there are people that will only buy American. I've been with friends that have looked at jackets that and walked without buying one. My wife's looks like the old police jacket I started out with a million years ago, it really is a good jacket but they proabably know what sells more than I do.
