Wave, or don't wave?
No one really gives a ****.
Some only wave at Honda guys in black jeans.
At 120MPH divided by two, I have no idea what you are riding,
And I do not care.
Upside down peace sign works for me...
Then again those crotch rocket guys with thier left hand on thier waist...
Ummm... is that another post?
Under no circumstances should you fail to wave back. The correct response to the down low wave is a combination of a thumbs down followed immediately by middle finger. Anything else will just **** people off.
Okay, now that there's funny, I don't care what anybody says!!!
Since your a new rider I suggest you keep your hands on the handlebars. If you can nod your head in their direction. If you feel you must wave back just raise your hand a few inches off the grip and make a movement. To some of the more cage oriented and extended hand maybe taken as a hand signal.
Waving is just one of those things that seems to be an expectation at this time. I watched a lady newbie waving to everyone in a passing group on a busy road and missed the fact that the SUV stopped in fron of her. Paniced tried to swerve and crashed into the back at about 20mph, sidewards skid, wrecked the bike, damaged the back of the SUV and got herself a broken arm and leg.

I think this needs to be taken some quick action on!!! All new riders should have to have an orange flag flyin from their bikes so we know not to distract them!!! Hehe!!!
