Well, Un3asyrider..... just bite the bullett and take the plunge...... if the guy still has that Low Rider by September, he may just do some dealing. They dont want to have to store the bikes if they dont have to........and......they may throw in some extras like a free 1000 mile maintenance, some chrome cash or even extend that 2 year warranty to 3 or more. Do you have any other dealers in your area you can take that deal to, and ask them to beat it?........that is, if they have a low rider similar to the one you saw.
You know, a good place to advertise your bike being for sale are at colleges. Kids will be looking for transportation when they start school this fall and like metric rides. Just a thought.
Have you searched for a ""like new"" used bike ? There are plenty of bikes that spend MOST of all there time sitting in a garage and not out on the roads. [ Just my 2 cents. ]
yeah, there arent any lows in my area and im not willing to travel out of phoenix. alot of garage queen customs around these parts though. like bigdogs, saxons and the like.

thanks for the advice LWOS. ive gotten several calls in the last few hours about the bike. im sure itll sell soon. then i guess im just gonna take the plunge. non-riding wife be damned!
Un3asyrider...........
Sorry to hear the little lady doesn't ride, or doesn't like to ride. That "could" be a blessing in disguise thought. Here is what my Husband tells people:
I've make 2 mistakes in my life:
1. Buying my wife a Low Rider
2. Giving her the Accessory Catalog
As you can see from my signature photo...... he's right.
But you know what, maybe if you take her to some local Harley Dealership functions or rides, or get her signed up for a Riders Edge class or some other beginners school.......she just might change her mind and start to enjoying it.
We'll look forward to seeing some photos of your New Low Rider when you bring her home. Us Low Riders have to stick together, now that they've retired the model.
I'd just try another dealer. Around here there's $1000 off of Street Bobs and another dealer is doing $1000 off on Superglides and throwing in a 2 year extended service plan. You might be surprised what another dealer may do for you.

Your negotiating two deals at the same time. Even the dealers around here < Westside and IndyWest give a $1000 gift card and first and now second service free, and they sell at MSRP. Pretty much. Sell the crotch rocket and then go deal.
