9/10 people will go down at some point. There is always a minute exception to the rule, but the vast majority will go down. Sometimes there is nothing you can do about it.

Example of my accident, this old lady came literally out of no where and blew a stop sign for a left turn as I was 5 feet or so from it, she ended up T-boning me completely, leg between my bike and the front of her car. I went flying.

Take a look at my photo albums if you want to see some of the aftermath of that.

Will everyone's be as serious as this? Of course not, but at some point you will go down.

Gone down 4 times on a street bike...fortunately the 3 where I was moving were all at slow speeds...one of them on black ice in the winter. the 4th was in the parking lot of a bike dealership while backing out of a downhill incline parking space. Broke my left mirror. Walked back into the shop and bought a new mirror. Felt like a dumbazz. Can't even count the number of get offs and sudden gusts of gravity while riding dirt bikes. But I sure remember the worst of them. A sudden severe head shake on an RM250 at full speed 5th gear caused the bike to flip and I went over the bars like superman in flight at about 60 MPH. That one got me an abulance ride to the hospital for emergency shoulder reconstruction.

**** happens. When we do survive a wreck, we are better riders because of that wreck.(we don't wanna do it again)
Most everyone I know has been down at least once,no matter how long they've rode.
Will everyone wreck?...No.
Will the opportunity to wreck be there?...Always.

Well said!

Boy, I really think you need to laid, I have never read so many pessimistic posts from one person. I think it's inevitable we are all going to die, I just do my best to try and avoid it if I can. Good luck about getting laid, it would be good to see you wright something nice.

Going down and dropping it are two different things...dropping your bike because you are a new rider doesn't count. Dropping it in the driveway because you forgot to put your feet down does not count. The best wrecks always start with the words "hey hold me beer while I try this" or "Hey watch this".

I have been down a couple times. One time doing 30 or so and had the front tire hit sand on the blacktop in a corner...no harm no foul but it counts and the second was when I hit a deer doing 40 or 50...went down hard but rode it home...I expect that I will go down again in the future but don't dwell on it...when it happens, it happens...

I raced motocross and cross country for 14 years when I was younger, probably went down 100 times. So for all of you here you probably have 99 dumps to go. Good luck.
