I think that if Victory had been smart, they'd have made their touring bikes look like old Indians, before Indian started building bikes again. Maybe when Indian fails again, and I think they will, they can cash in on that look.

That would be a whole lot more attractive than those plastic looking thangs.

I think they look really damn good and after having riden some of them, they ride great as well. Cant wait to try out the cross roads. I dont concern myself with what ride you have. As long as your happy, thats all that counts. I buy what impresses me and for my enjoyment. I will never buy or ride a bike to please anyone else. So on topic, I will give them a hard look when I am buying my next bike.

Not a huge fan of any of them but if I HAD to pick one it'd be the Cross Country.

I like the 8-Ball cruisers and would be pleased to ride and own one. I do not mind the Visions, personally. I am back and forth on the Cross Roads.

That Cross Country, however, I can do completely without.

Why does anyone like the cross country over the cross roads, or vice-versa? The only difference is a windshield vs. a fairing. The back ends are identical, and look like they match the Vision also.

No offense to anyone who rides or likes 'em, but am I the only one who thinks that Indian's bikes, with their giant fenders, leather fringe, and fender ornaments, are hideous looking? I'd much rather ride a Victory, any Victory, than an Indian (or at least any Indian I've seen)

I rode the Gilroy Indian Chieftain 1999 generation and it was far nicer than anything I have seen in those pitchers of Victory plastique motorcycles. They were also a cut above the same year Harleys at least in finish because all the brackets, clamps, controls were machined from billet aluminum and chromed. So yes there are some who think the Indians look good.
