If you ride back thru NH, Take the KangaMangus Highway. Awesome ride.
We took it coming back from Maine a couple summers ago. Wow. nice ride, if your going that way.
If you stay in Bar Harbor I strongly suggest you check out Aysgarth Station BB. The owners are super nice and give a 5% HOG members discount. The breakfasts are unbelieveable!
We stayed there last year and we intended to ride up to the top of Cadillac Mountain to see the sunrise (very cool thing to do!). When we got up at 0 dark thirty, there was a thermos of coffee and 2 stadium blankets set out for us. They let me park my bike in their garage and even provided me with the things I needed to give the bike a bath. www.aysgarth.com
Thanks,,.I even spoke with Steve at Aysgarth who sounds like a great guy..but he is full..so we are staying next door..but he would let me park my bike in his garage ...what customer service..and I am not even staying there...!!!
Any recommendations for a decent B&B towards Portland way or heading up 302 to NH?
