Hey all..we are planning a road trip to CC next year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary..there will be about 4 other couples..I am lloking for recommendations of good biker friendly joints (restaurants, bars, tavrns) we have a place we are staying at..so all set there.
Would really appreciate any help you can give me...also, if you can supply me with a website of the place you are recommending, I would really appreciate that as well....
Not sure how biker friendly it is(always seemed ok to me) but check out Chatham and Squires bar/restaurant. Nice place. Another good place is Capt Parkers Pub in West Yarmouth. Great bar and great food. http://www.thesquire.com/ http://www.captainparkers.com/
Lots of nice scenery and riding on the cape, but be prepared for LOTS of summer traffic if you go then. One of the main roads through the cape is Route 28 and it becomes a parking lot on summer weekends.
heres my suggestion, GO NORTH to the Whites Mountains!!!!!! Unless of course you like looking at the car in front of you while your feet are planted on the pavement. Theres a great Towny tune from WROR about the Cape by Tom Doyle, http://wror.com/loren_wally1.shtml
That's some funny shi$. Grew up there...and ran far far away after high school. Nice place to visit for funerals and weddings...and oh ya, 25th Wedding Aniv's--congrats and enjoy!
