any one have a really good combination for cold mornings 40to60 degrees. going to work,and then leaving in the afternoon when its 75to80 degrees .been wearing a windbreaker and sweatshirt to work. but it is to hot comeing home.would like to know what you think is the best jacket for this kind of rideing.tourmaster,firstgear,olympia,ect. all comments welcome

If you're warm enough with the sweatshirt & windbreaker, why not just stow 'em for the ride home? If you don;t have saddlebags, just bring along a backpack. I used to do that with my Dyna and tied the backpack down with a cargo net.

I don't think you'll find something that works at a 40 degree difference.

A lot of clothes when its cold...not so many when its hot...GEEZ!!!

With out saddlebags on my dyna when i go to work i go with a gym bag strapped to the sissy bar behind me has my lunch and leather in it for the ride home some nights i need either leather or sweatshirt etc. But since i work 2nd by the time i go in its tshirt and jeans.

On cold mornings I wear a tourmaster jacket with a zip out liner and tourmaster overpants, also with a zip out liner. That combined with polartex gloves and I am fairly warm. I stow them all in the saddle bags for the ride home when it gets up in the 80s.

I like Tourmaster gear. Had pretty good luck with it so far.

Two words:
Electric Clothing.

Just get a heated vest or jacket liner and you'll be good for whatever.
