Wednesday, I received the grips/signals from Reaper13. Thanks again Reaper. I worked on them last night and will finish them tonight. There was a lot of wiring connections to cut and redo. Just very time consuming. I will post some pics and/or viddies late tonight.
And tomorrow, I am bringing Bill to the house and we are going to put her all back together. He is so excited to get on it and fire it up. I hope to have some really good pics and viddies tomorrow evening!
I hope everyone can tune in the next couple of days.

COD, Please tell Bill for me that I am all for his efforts to ride again. I have a good friend who lost a leg in an accident, and he always said he would ride again, but alwats talked about a trike. I'm proud to say that he now rides an Electra Glide, and that it only has two wheels. His wife rides as his passenger, and says that he hasn't skipped a beat, prosthetic and all. I guess my story is to help Bill with any doubts he has about being able to ride again.
Also, someone mentioned modding the bike to make it easier to ride. I don't know whats' involved, but balancing the brakes and hooking both front and rear to the hand lever may be a good idea for Bill. I am in Colorado, so I can't help, and I'm not in a position to send money as I'm recently unemployed, but if you needed it, I would be happy to research the products and try to find some deals. Maybe the folks that have offered cash help or offered to cover shipping would be willing to assist in this effort? I'm not suggesting you haven't done enough already, because you have. Im just thinking of Bill's safety.
A big way to go to you and everyone on this forum that has helped out on this project. The bike looks great, and I'm sure Bill is stoked to know he has a bike to ride as soon as he is ready. Consider my faith in humanity renewed.

kdichs, that will be even more good vibes for Bill, thank you for letting us know about your buddy and tell him good job! because I am well aware of the challenges he went through to ride again. Bill is very determined. I am hoping that his physical restrictions can be overcome, and it is progressing with promise.
We have talked about the brake mod and may do that in the future. I agree that we should do it, but the call is Bills. Thanks for offering help with that, we would not turn down any assistance.
I would like to thank Shelly, a non-forum member but a good friend with a big heart, for generously donating some cash to the build. I received a check today from Shelly and she asked that I use it for what ever is needed. Possibly some wax, maintanence items, or whatever else is needed. Thanks Shelly for wanting to be part of this. Your donation is very much appreciated and will be put to good use towards the bike.
Very nice! Grip turn signals look very cool! I think the idea of waiting until Bill can come up and help button it up is a really good one. It gives him the satisfaction of being involved in the build of his bike. I can't wait to see the videos from tomorrow.
