Fuel line fix, check.
All wiring, check.
Bearings, brakes, rear adjustment, check.
Ever time Bill cracked a smile, I would go for the camera, but he knew these were going to end up on the internet, so he kept throwing on his game face. I think we can all understand that. I tried not to stick the camera up his *** ever other minute. Let me tell you, he wanted to get on that thing so bad.
You guys should have heard him when I picked him up this morning, he was so looking forward to today. He was texting me 45 minutes before I was supposed to be there to see what I was up to. I was going to kid with him and tell him I changed my mind, but I thought maybe he would drop over!
Reaper, Bill really likes the grips on there. He kept turning the signals on and off as so say "check these things out!" LOL
And, he really likes the color of the tank and front fender - and he said several times throughout the day that with the black seat going right into the black fender, that he actually really liked the look. There definately was not anything about the bike he didn't like.
And I'll throw this in here:
I took Bill back to the home around 6pm. I got his wheel chair and walker out of the back, he was standing at the passenger side on both feet waiting as I came around the vehicle, clinging to the door waiting, he wheeled himself in and I followed carrying his walker, we were going up the hall towards his room and all he said was "Man this sucks". I gave him a good firm hand shake, told him "Get the hell out of here" and I turned and walked.
Man this sucks. I know what he meant. I hope you can to. He got a lot of inspiration today, thanks to a lot of top notch guys from all over the country. Good job guys. Truely remarkable in my eyes.
needs to be more people like you in this world and maybe it would't
be a bad place to live .

We can all become products of our environment. When we get older and get exposed to new things, we can make choices. I truely believe that thanks to all the support and help from all you guys, Bill sees a different mental future for himself. Bill is not the most sensitive guy I have ever met, but I have been around him enough to hear statements like the above that lets me know he feels blessed to have had so many people hold their hand out toward him.
