Well, right now, I'm working on brake pads and tires. Funds have been received from a forum member that we are going to use for that stuff. I got the girps/signals on the way, rotors on the way, so I think we are sitting pretty good.
But if you would like, gunner and few others mentioned about wanting to see a night train trike! I'm hoping it don't come to that! LOL.
Thanks for your interest to help though, we appreciate that.
As you guys may have seen a few posts ago, Bill has walked on his prosthetic, so there is progress on his end also.
Did insurance cover any repairs on the bike? He may be able to find one that got *** packed, and get all the forward parts he needs.
+1 on the trike if he's gonna have a prothesis.
I saw that he didn't have insurance, but is your state a no fault state? Some states have laws that might allow him to recover damages, lost wages, medical etc.
Has he checked with a lawyer?

I don't know what he has pursued. I do know they have specialized staff right at the facility he is in, that assists patients in finding out what "the deal" with their specific sitution is. So I would think things have been addressed. I can let him know this though, thank you.
How is the build sitting? Any parts missing that you can think of??
Over all, pretty well. I just hung up the phone from ordering tires and brakes. Those are scheduled to be here next Monday.
I have gone over the bike many times, I don't think I am missing anything at this time.
I have been very successful with replacing damage parts - and had no plans of getting a derby cover since it was not broken, just scrapped up. But since everthing else turned out pretty good, that damn cover is sticking out like a sore thumb!LOL I am in process of checking on a cover, if that don't work out, I can repost on here that I am looking for one. Other than that, I think we are good.
Thanks for checking in DarkTrak! I appreciate your interest.
wow, just saw this thread and read the whole thing and am very impressed with all of COD.s and the forum members help on behalf of Bill. Glad to hear he seems to be in good spirits and Im certain that his new/rebuilt scoot gives him a lot of incentive to help himself get back up on 2 legs and then on 2 wheels again. I am far from wealthy but willing to help with any additional funds you guys might need. again "pretty work" to all of you. craig
Glad you could join us. If we need anything, I'll keep you in mind. I appreciate you offering to assist. With some more parts on the way, we should be really getting close to the finish soon! Thanks man.
Since I have the wheel off, again, Bill had asked me to stiffen up the rear shocks. Figured I might as well get this done. This diagram is pretty much what I remember seeing under there last night. Can any of you guys that have actually done this look at my little diagram and tell me if I'm thinking correctly?
Thanks for the help.
