Wanted to let everyone know that the ride went great on Saturday. I intend to post some pics and videos this evening to wrap things up!

Ten months ago, the second post of this thread was made by pugs, and he said “I hope that you guys get to share a ride together soon”. Wow, if I could only get the words down to express the emotional journey it has been to see that day come.

Time. You can’t get it back. You can’t work for more. You can’t borrow it from another. You can’t save it for later. There is no price to be placed on it.

For my local buddies, Brad, Dave, and Buster; I thank you for your time. Thank you for believing in my devotion enough to utilize your skills and giving me assistance to ensure that this project was a success.

And to the several forum members that patiently talked to me on the phone and through emails, providing me with information and guidance, or just reassuring me; I thank each and every one of you for your time.

If you have not done so, read this thread from end to end in recognition of the many prodigal forum members that felt compelled to be part of this experience by donating parts and money to see that I had the proper materials to put together a quality and safe ride for Bill. I know that any bike can be fixed up to standards that most of us would strive to own. But every time I look at this train, donated and pieced together by the will of you guys that wanted nothing but the best, I have to admit that for me, this bike will be one of the finest rides I will ever see.

To my wife. Thank you for being understanding and supportive in helping me stay lively and spirited towards finishing this project. You are an angel and I love you.

And to Bill. This week is your last week in a place that you described as nothing short of a prison in hell. I hope that our interaction and bonding took some of the pain away from what you had to do most there, time. Ride safe brother.

After a great ride down 26, we headed for a late lunch. Afterwards, everyone retired at my house for the evening. A fire kept the air warm and the beer kept the conversation lively! Uh, no pics, because I think we were all enjoying ourselves too much to remember the camera! Wennies and mountian pies were on the snack menu while everyone shared stories of life and the road. A good time was had by all. I got Bill back to the home safe and sound. Here are a couple clips of the ride.
Over and out.

First time I've seen anything on here about this, I'm speachless! Just wanted to commend you and all the forum members who helped out. This is why this forum is so great. Entertaining at times, yes, but genuinely good, caring people for the most part. If only the general public new this side of the biker community. You are a good man!
