Unbelievable timing! Very shortly after I posted this morning about the bike being done, etc., Bill text me - He is probably getting out of the home next week or weekend.
So, I ran over to the home on my lunch break to speak with him. He wants to ride. So, next Saturday it is! Rain date is next Sunday. 15th and 16th. We talked about starting the ride around 11. He was cool with the idea of riding, eating, riding and then hanging at my house afterwards. Anyone that is interested in going, we would love to have you join us.
I will post details as you need them.
I've been watching this thread for a while now and it has given re-birth to my faith in humanity. Great job! Where is this ride? Im a long way down here in Philly but would like to try to make it. If you have an address to meet up Id sure like to know.
Jack
Sent several follow up mails on the stirrups and haven't gotten so much as a "not interested" back. You might want to put the word out and see if someone here has a set...
Thanks for the interest. I will pm you my cell and the address to meet us at. We are meeting there at 11am. If you do make it and get close, give me call and I'll get you there if you have any problems.
Thanks for your efforts dude. Can't do more than that! Bill said he felt ok with the new foot on the peg when testing in the parking lot. Maybe down the road he can decide if he wants to add something.
Again, I appreciate you trying, and for following up.

Anytime...! If you and your Mrs ever get up this way, we would be glad to put you up for a night or two along with lots of wobbley pops and some nice ribeyes!
Amazing job COD and everyone who donated parts and cash for Bill. I read the entire post, and enjoyed every minute of the posting. COD, you also did a great job of keeping everyone posted and updated on the entire project. Cheers to you all!!

To everyone meeting up this weekend, ride safe. I would make the trip out there but at the moment I am sans front wheel due to a 90mph pothole encounter on I-95 one morning on my way to work. Still waiting on my new wheel while the Train sits on a jack on my parking pad.
Thanks Deuce. It is great to know everyone can appreciate what the group has done.
And Steve: dang man, I was hoping you would make it, because I was anticipating you pulling up with that rifle slung over you back. Or do you private-pack straight-leg that beast??!! LOL Maybe some other time. Hope you're back on two soon.
Thanks guys.
