uh oh, another accident

uh oh, another accident
in keeping with all these accident threads, i figured i'd throw my hat in the ring and tell you about mine.
i was doing a steering head adjustment on my road king. working in the garage, and its hot here. so i get the adjustment done and figure its time to do a test ride. rode up to the highway, headed north, went into the 65mph zone, blasted through for a bit, did a u-turn and headed back to the house, in all about 20 miles. steering feels much better now.
oh, the accident? well, after i was done with the test ride, i figured i would change back into my shorts instead of hanging around the house in my jeans. well, i kinda lost my balance and ended up with the waistband of the shorts between my big toe and second toe, and instinctively my foot went to the ground to catch my balance, ripping my shorts right out of my hand! and breaking my second toe in the process. and if that weren't bad enough, when i went to take a shower, i accidentally knocked a shampoo bottle of the side of the shower where it came straight down on my big toe, cutting it. it then fell over onto the broken second toe. so there i am, bleeding big toe and throbbing second toe.....
be careful out there folks, its a jungle.... (but the test ride went exceptionally well with no one trying to kill me

Well, the shorts probably could have been avoided if you left yourself an escape route. On the other hand, I would have kicked that shampoo bottle's ***... did you get the UPC code off the back to pass on to the unsurance company?

Man I hate to hear that...prayers out to you and your family and here's to a fast recovery. Hope you'll be back on that scoot in no time. Shampoo can be replaced but that toe...oh man. Someone was sure looking out for ya!! Best of luck and keep us informed.
