We be going to the rally in Effingham, plan to ride over to St. Louis Sunday and then go south on 3, what kind of town is Cape Girardeau? Looking for a stop over. Have you ever been down to Land Between the Lakes? Thought about going thru there on way back east, then toward Lexington.

Land between the Lakes is beautiful, but i haven't been there since I was a kid, i don't remember much about it.
Looking forward to meeting you (and everyone!) in Effingham!

Far out, i was born and lived in Cape for 30 years and never heard it called that. drank many a beer in C'dale. My mom and sister still live there. I'm in alabama now. a great spot to ride to is elephant rocks near graniteville and johnson shut ins.

LOL - I grew up in Carbondale, IL. We used to call Cape Girardeau "Cape Garage Door".
