I just bought an 09 Street Bob with 1702 miles on it, air cleaner kit, Stage 1 tuning, Vance and Hines black short shot pipes, and forward controls.
The bike came with an extra seat (Stripper seat) but it does not work at all for my wife to sit on.
She rode on my buddy's 09 Street Bob with a Mustang seat, but his seat is not the touring style for the Dyna. She said that it sucked riding long distances on that seat though.
What is everyone's opinion on which manufacturer makes the best 2 up seat? It seems that the wider the 2up pillion is, the more comfortable it will be for long rides.
Is the Sundowner a great seat for a 2 up seat? If it is, where is the best place to pick one up? I need to get a nice comfy 2 up seat ASAP so my wife can go riding with me.

I went with the stock Harley touring seat.. I tried out others but for the price it seemed to be fine. We have racked up a bunch of miles on it and know complaints at all.. Normally I like Corbin seats ... but I am really pleased with the Harley touring seat made for the Street Bob. I also got the quick release back rest and quick release wind (wimp) shield for it. So far no complaints from Loretta on the ride.. She is very please with it now that we have the shocks and forks upgraded and set up right.
I have this Corbin on my Fatbob, it's feels better than a "lap dance". I had the Harley solo and my butt felt like Bubba's cellmate on Sat. night.
Get a Corbin in whatever style your looking for.
While there are both good and bad seats, you need to keep in mind that no two a$$es are alike.
Alot of people like the Sundowner and another group will swear by the Mustang, but after having both, I can tell you that only your and the wifes keisters can tell you what's going to feel comfy. The "best", most expensive seat out there will suck, if it doesn't fit your butt.
I had a stock lowrider seat on my bob and it was a great two-up alternative for cheap. But after about 400 miles, the OL couldn't handle it. so I bought a mustang. all is good now. My lowrider seat is for sale if you're interested, pm me.

That's probably the best advise, that's been said.
