somehow "Sprint Tech Support" written on your pack just doesn't seem right to me. lol
You know, I was thinking about this recently while idle. People generally have respect for individuals with mechanical aptitude. Why doesn't the same kind of respect exist for those with electronic aptitude? Both use their heads and hands to get people up and running.
I rock a backpack on my commute to work, I've got no car and no saddle bags and the boss wants me to bring my laptop with me to work... not much choice
For overnight stuff i pack up the roll bags and strap one to the bars and the other to the passenger seat.
Don't care about the fashion police, I've got places to be and stuff to do.

I knew a girl who used her head and hands to get people up and running but I don't think she had any mechanical or electrical aptitude .......
I wear a backpack on the Sporty, but part of the appeal of the Ultra was being able to stuff my backpack in the tour pack. So most of the time I do that now.
This is what I use. http://www.targus.com/us/product_det...p?sku=TSB118US It has a waste strap as well as shoulder straps so it doesn't weigh down on your back while riding. I used to carry a 17" Dell laptop in it
Backpack not for me, but better than a Man purse. I will let the wife wear a backpack sometimes looks really cute with frogs on it. I don’t think frogs are my style.
I used a back pack for years when I would travel to rallies as I had no bags or racks on my bike. Usually by the time I got to where I was going my shoulders hurt pretty bad. Maybe it was the way I sat with one on, or I had a sh!tty backpack. Now I have a bagger so I don't need to use one. Although I'm not opposed to it.
