actually I think it was P.T. Barnum who is attributed to this quote, but when asked about it he denied ever saying it.

When I listed my Sportster on craigslist I had a guy offer me a trade - I give him my Harley and he would give me his 1975 Cadillac AND his 1979 Suzuki GS or something equally lame.

Needless to say I turned him down.

Obviously someone who tried very hard to make his bike a Harley and then realized it couldn't be done. Kind of sad actually.
