Pleased to announce that my bike's forward controls finally came in and they will be installed this evening.

(Stock Low Rider highway pegs are available for purchase if anyone is interested)

Put on the Sundowner Deep Bucket seat last week and wife loves the improvement.

My daughter was offered, and accepted, a job in NYC and is excited about the move to the Big Apple. (She completed Grad School in THE CITY and sort of missed it)

My son is doing great (he's also in NYC practicing law).

My health is pretty good, I've got a new bike, and a cool chick loves me.

LIFE IS GRAND!!!!!!

First let me say,...My bike is perfect,...never had any trouble with it! I see alot of stuff wrong with other bike on here,...but apparantly I 've been lucky. 10,000 miles on this one,..and not a glitch.

My two kids went sleep over at friends houses last weekend. Saturday night, me and the wife took off on the bike. We rode down some country roads around here,.it was nice, sun was setting, light breeze,.....we rode to a small cajun seafood resturaunt just off I-49 near the Bunkie Louisiana exit, called The Catfish Kitchen(btw....best seafood in this area) dumpy little place with antiques hanging all over the walls,...but good food. We ate, and had a couple beers. We took our time riding home, enjoying the ride along bayou huffpower,..and listening to the frogs and crickets chirping as we drove down the lane. Not another vehicle in sight. We made it home about 9:00pm,..and had some championship sex,....you know the kind,...when the kids aint home. Anyway,...afterwards we fixed each a ice cream "bowlie" and watched a horror flick. ,........................was an excellent "date-nite" with the wife.

We normally take-off on dates like this at every chance we get,..especially when we don't have to worry about the kids.

We've been married 18 years and we still croon over each other like when we dated,....kinda a rarity these days.

Hope this lightens your spirits!
Ok no fiction here

It's not raining, didn't yesterday either. Nothing bad at all happened to me yesterday or up to now today.

Getting any happier now ?

Let us know if there is anything more we could do for your depression.

(Just laugh it off, and I hope you have a great day !!! )

Saved on insurance, that was good!
Likewise, I can hardly stay off the bike. Everybody's sad I lost the carpool, and I'm riding 90 miles to work and back every day. I can't wait to get on it.
Took the grandson up the mountain last weekend. His first ride, and my first time on a mountain road on a Harley. '06 WG. Wow! This thing glides up or down, in most any gear! No bike I've EVER had was so easy. THIS is cruisin'!

I know it is a reality that bikes and cars crash, but lately there are so many threads about negative things. Yes I know that Roethlisberger crashed and was not wearing a helmet, but I have read so may threads about crashes, and people dropping their bikes and being hit by animals.... I know we all like to know what the community thinks and feels out there, but can someone post a thread about an amazing ride that went well, or something positive like that????? I'm starting to get depressed reading all of this!
I know what you mean. Seems like nothing but bad news lately, but maybe this will help you with your little slump. Our Green Chili Run went without a hitch this past weekend. Here are some pics for you:
