Followup - I know where they live and who they are - My initial thought was that it was kids doing it. Now it appears that it was a girl that threw the bottles and she is 43 years old. If her husband was driving, he is 47. Not a kid prank but adults with the intent of doing bodily harm. They live in a somewhat wealthy area close to where I live. I can only imagine that they were up on drugs or drunk or both. I am leaving it all in the hands of the local police. My gut feeling is to confront them but things have a way of getting ugly so I will let the police do there thing.
I did. then when I got home I made a call to the police and gave her tag out. silly cow, money doesn't win everything .

you can do that even when you're off duty? How do you get people to pull over? If I was in a car and somebody on a private bike with nothing proving they were authority told me to pull over I'd be very weary.
Glad your OK. You made the right Decision. Wouldn't you just love to be 40 years Younger some days and just Beat the crap out of some of these young punks who have no regard for anybody's life! What comes around goes around, they'll get theirs in the end!

If I get the chance to show them the badge I talk to them right away. Otherwise I write down their licensenumber. Find out who they are and call or visit them when I'm on duty. I dont really care If some people think I'm doing more then I should when Im off duty but as far as Im concerned throwing trash out the window when driving is dangerous to others. I dont like how some people just dont give a f*** about others.
Just the throwing garbage out on the road irks me more than if it were aimed at me and lots of time I'm riding with those that are much bigger and infinatly badder than me and just the wrong folks to *** with.
Wow unbelieveable. Fortunately for myself, it's never happened. The cops will probably contact the owner of the vehicle but unless they admit wrongdoing there's little the police can do because they didn't witness it.
My initial impulse would be to follow them. But since I carry my Glock 27 everywhere I go, I would likely calm down and call the police. I just think it should be okay to shoot POS like that.
Seriously, your Honor, they needed killing.
Okay then, son, just don't go shooting somebody who doesn't need it. Case dismissed.

Geez has it not occured to you bunch girls tha maybe the solution is to follow these **** rats home and visit them later that night
yeah right. if they're willing to throw crap, they're willing to run you down.
or worse, run someone else down while running from you. i was gonna yell at a teenager for throwing pennies while driving. chased him into a residential area where he nearly ran over a pedestrian.
taxes pay cops. cops deal with morons. if you chose not you use them, you aren't getting your moneys worth.

Oh please dont get me wrong. I think what you do is great. I was just wondering exactly how you pull people over on a private bike.. not even legally curious.. curious how you get the job done. Thanks for elaborating, i wish there were more cops like you where my home of record is.
