My bagger has some work done to it and is pretty quick for a tuna boat. Was at the Milwaukee rally Sunday. We pulled out of Hal's, and went down the street a couple of blocks. Thought I missed second gear. My belt went sailing out the back of the bike about 100 ft. I've changed a belt before, and it's a pain. Gonna cost about $700. Rats!
Buy the belt separately and take it to an indy. You might get a better price on the labor than at a dealership. I've replaced the belt on my girlfriends Dyna. It is not that difficult, just takes some time.
When mine broke, I payed $250 for the belt and spent 1/2 day changing it. Not hard, just takes time. But you have to take the primary completely off, so a huge breaker bar is a must.
Did that once on the Heritage Showing Off ... The Price had to pay for replacing a perfectly good Belt and 4-5 hours doing the work and calling myself stupid the whole time broke me from the Habit...
