Thanks for the advise.
I had some acetone & was going to try it, but the can had leaked it all out. Someone expressed that the acetone may be "rough" on the chrome. Anyone know for sure?
I was going to try EZ off, but when my wife went to the store to buy some she read on the label, "do not use on chrome", so she didn't get it.
Where do you get Blue-Job?

Im not sure, but if you get em cold, and then use a very exspensive penetrating oil called Kroil, it might get between the stuff and the chrome and then slip right off. Kroil can be found at a machine shop or their supplier, pricey, used to be 10$ for one can, probly more now, but the stuff frees up stuck bolts overnight and it works for that really well so you wont be out if you try it.
