but I'm have been so tired of searching for my brake pedal.
Had forward controlls installed on my bike before I took delivery. Looks good, comfortable,(although I replaced the mid-mounts for an alternate position on road trips),but the brake pedal just never seemed natural.Knee against the a/c cover, ankle twisted around to the left to use that little ol'puny-assed one inch square brake pedal.Alway felt a little unbalanced coming to a stop and ended up touching the front brake before I put my foot down.Figured I was gonna end up busting my *** one of these days cause I was searching for the brake pedal when I instinctively hit the rear brake and couldn't find it.
Installed this big ol' honkin' brake pedal an what a difference. Feather the brakes to a stop without twisting my ankle to the left, just seems so much more natural, brakes there without having to think about it.
It ain't near as pretty, looks like a sail goin' down the road, but sometimes looks aren't everything.

Tom, just like they say ...... if it works who cares what it looks like. Ride safe and often, Steve from Az.
Experience the exact same deal myself. Have to do a pigeon toe squat to hit the rear break. I think your solution looks good. Looks a ton better than the pair of Ronald McDonald clown shoes I bought!!
