Hey Brian, I knew there was a reason I liked Texas. Honestly, I wish more states would handle their trash this way. Unfortuniately Here in Ohio, we can't do that yet.

I have to admit, the door was unlocked. I have a seperate garage in the back corner of my yard. It has a regular door that, until now, I have left unlocked. I know, stupid. Never had a problem and have gotten complacent. Still shocked nothing was taken. I find it odd that of all the things they could have taken or messed with, they opened up a saddle bag. Not sure what they were looking for in a saddle bag. All I ever keep on the bike is rain gear, sun block and koozies. I'd probably feel better if they had taken something. Then it wouldn't be so weird.

It actually sounds like it was kids to me. A thief would not have resisted the urge to steal from you. But I would still secure your garage.

Every once in awhile, one of my friends will good naturedly kid me about locking the forks and ignition on my bike when the bike is locked inside my garage...and as I always say, if someone is gonna take it, they're gonna have to WORK for it...they're not gonna get it thru an unlocked garage door, or roll it out after breaking IN the garage...a pro will get it no matter what, if they want it bad enough...but most thieves are amateurs and lazy, and only get by with it thru the carelessness of the owners...

When my boys come home late after I've hit the rack, they use the keypad on the garage door to get in the house. One night they forgot to put the door down. The scooter was untouched but the next morning I discovered all the beer in my garage fridge was gone. They left me my wife's wine coolers, proof that thieves are without a conscience.
