Yep, very true. I grew up in Oklahoma City. Lived there up until about 3 years ago. It took a REALLY cool job to get me to move out of state.

It took a shitty job to get me out of Oklahoma. I took any excuse I could to get the hell out of there. I was born and raised in Del City and Wynnewood. I was happy to get out of there. No matter where you are, you have the basic right to protect your life and those lives around you. No one will come into my house with malicious intent and leave breathing. No matter where I live.

Next time, leave a note in the saddle bag that says, "Turn around." Then you clock them over the head with a baseball bat.

Many years ago my grandparent's home in Oklahoma was burglarized. It unnerved my grandmother and when she asked the sherriff what do he told her this.

"Shoot them. If they are outside, just drag them inside and call me."

He was dead serious. The guy has my vote.

I have actually heard cops in Okc say the exact same thing. Oh and I to lived in Del City for about 5 years. Nothing worth seeing there at all! The cool job was a bonus, but I don't miss Oklahoma that much. I can watch OU football from anywhere. Thats about the coolest thing in Oklahoma short of my family.
