It finally happened
So down we go on the right side of our wide glide, the wifey was smart and landed on top of me, I hit my head (helmet) my right fist punched the deck as did my elbow, and ribs and chest took a blow when the wife landed on my back. The car pulled into their drive and they all stood in front of their watching us as we were pinned under the bike, heard the wife screaming "oh God", have no idea what the hell I was screaming at the time? Some guy's stopped and pulled the scoot of of us and stayed with us until the cops and everybody else showed up, to make this shorter, cop chick said because I rear ended her it was probably going to be my fault, had the bike towed home, jumped in the jeep went to the VA hosp. had 26 x-rays done just soft tissue damage, wife has a bad knee and ankle, but we'll heal (thank you Lord) bike is in the shop $2300.00 in damage to the front and right side, my helmet and boots are toast(dressed for a crash) but we are very lucky, AAA hasn't given me any crap, Harley shop has been super, Can't wait to get back on the horse, wifey feels the same way, she's one to ride the river with, anyway you all be careful out there, THEY ARE TRYING TO KILL US
I give a little twist on the throttle and make the engine roar as I pass by a cagers I think doesn't see me...
I am sorry for what had happened. Good you're still alive!
Take care you and your wife
Got a kick out of your last line "THEY ARE TRYING TO KILL US" though...one of the first lessons I learned was to never pass any slowing vehicle on the right or left, despite which blinker is flashing. Now if it was a 2 lane street, you might have an argument but...Whether in a car or on your bike, it is your error.
He must of thought you were trying to kill him.
