I have a LCD dipstick (Harley Part# 63004-09) which has recently decided that my oil level is too high. I have manually checked the oil level and it is just fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and is there a fix?
I had the same problem when I switched to synthetic oil
Mine reads normal with dino but reads high with synthetic oil

The first time mine said the temp was 274 and oil too low. I pumped about half a pint in there and it said too high. I said the hell with it and its been fine every since...temp and level.
I never really cared for a system that said you should check your oil level when warm (what happens in that time if your oil is low?)
I ride my bike....check the oil when I want to, Don't worry about oil temperature
when in traffic. I have a digital thermometer but can't reach it when riding.
Change my oil every 3-4 thousand miles....sometimes as long as 5 thousand.
I have enough stuff to worry about. My oil level is fine.
