"Man...I sure wish I had one of those Harley models instead of the one I have."
Thanks for your input.
I do that all the time.
I'm always thinking that I should have gotten the Springer instead of the Night Train. I'd basically have the same bike I have now but I'd have a bad *** Springer front end.
or
I always wish I had gone with the Heritage or Deluxe because you can dress em out for long road tours or strip em down for cruisin around town.
or
I'll see a bad *** FLHX somewhere and say to myself "oh yeah, that's where it's at".
Your not alone Gaso.
I like my bike, I'm just never happy I guess.

Not so much want it "instead of", but "along with".
Wouldn't part with the pan.
Miss the 124" Ultra.
The ol' shovel has FINALLY come into 'her' own. (Won 3 shows this summer)
There's a couple I'd like to 'try', but I've pretty much 'tried' what they have to offer.
IF I had to 'narrow' it down.
The one I'd trade my shovel for, in a heart beat, '97 Heritage Springer, in Red/White, with ALL the trimmings. IF it had high mileage, then drop in an Ultima BIG INCH motor and 6 spd.
And for a 'town runner', Buell xb12r.
For a non-Harley, what was once called the "Time Bandit".
It was a Flathead Power Knucklehead(only with modern metals, technology, and machining), in a stock '47 frame. BUT you could get it up to 121", with a 6 spd, if you wanted. Flathead Power, got bought out by S&S last year. The Time Bandit, is no longer available. Guy'd have to build it, and S&S is NOT making the big inch Knucks, that FHP was. What a friggin' shame.
I see a chitpot full o' scoots, I like a lot. But few I'd really want, or 'trade' mine for.
I am happy with what I have. Everyone has different taste.
It's nice to check out the new models each year, but I haven't seen anything that would make me trade.
