Very Sad,
Two scumbags fleeing a gas station without paying ran down and killed Iowa national guardsman and 30 year military veteran Bruce Mundy 49, then after seeing how severe the injuries were they fled on foot, leaving him to die in the street.

Yes that is sad, prayers to the family. This is also a prime example of how the legal system in this country needs to be fixed. I mean come on. The idiot who ran over Bruce Mundy shot two cops when he was 16! Was shot in the process and suffered brain damage and lost a leg so the DA didn't try him due to perceived incompetence? Please, he was competent enough to drive a car, flee without paying for gas and run over a motorcyclist.

Here in BC, you now have to pay for fuel in advance because a fuel thief ran and dragged the attendant for several miles. This new law is the deterrent to prevent it from happening again. Seems to me a deterrent might be to throw the POS in jail, but alas he got only two years, probably out in a few months. Our legal system up here is in bad need of a spine.

This country has way to many lawyers! All they ever think about is becoming famous for getting guilty people off with very light sentences or no punishment at all.
