Just so you know, to the comment about the Hayabusa, it recently was voted best motorcycle of the world, because of its handling, comfort, and power. So the comment about "see you in the papers" is unjustified.
I didn't expect to blow egos apart this easily! WOW
Oh yes, your words are so powerful, your arguments so compelling, we are all hiding in the corner waiting for the bad man to leave. Let's pretend for a second that you're the first monkey who read a few catalogs and dropped by to educate all of us dumbasses. We've heard it all before and it all sounds the same.
I am a new member here, and I would like to know how many of you people actually think a harley is fast?
Also, I would like to compare harleys with import cruisers.
Do the import cruisers go as fast as harleys?
Next question is, why do most harley riders make the bikes loud?
Final question, why don't harley riders want to wear helmets?
I am considering a cruiser bike and am not sure which one to buy yet. I want the most power for the money I can get! Thank you for your input!
O.K.,.....a serious question,......
How fast would you consider fast enough? How do you compare speed? Top end? Off the line? Why are you looking at cruisers if your concerned about performance?
Ok, if all I wanted was fast, either off the line or top end, My Hayabusa has it all buddy. You can't touch it anypart of the word go. For $10g you can get one too, and for a few more Gs you can make it have well over 300 horsies. Somethin you guys can't even fathem.
My original comparison is an M109 or VTX to whatever Harley has to compare it to. ANYTHING Harley has stock that would compare?
Did the jap bikes invent those or did they copy those from BMW?
I don't consider shaft drive and liquid cooling to be beneficial. Do sport bikes have shaft drive. Liquid cooling makes the bike look ugly and is another thing that can break.
And btw they make expensive jap cruisers without liquid cooling and with belt drive. Why? Because they want their bikes to look like harleys
Mr.Bird
In your last statement, you let us know why you DISLIKE Harleys?????????WTF????
Why don't you state what you LIKE about them??
And by the way, why do all Jap cruisers pull there tank emblems off???? HMMMM......
Um I don't know a single "Jap" rider to pull off his or her emblems!? This is news to me.
Oh and by the way, how did you folks do when they announced last year the Goldwing was the most American Made bike??
I am sure you will dismiss that as bullshit also. Dream on people.
Like I said, fragile egos, to have attacked me so fast. [sm=boohoo.gif]
