I asked some questions to try to get into your heads and find out why some of you feel the Harley is so superior, because I obviously am missing out somewhere.
Again, I will type slow so you can understand, I am asking for information on comparable bikes. Does Harley make anything that compares to an M109, or even a VTX Honda? I know all about the V-rod, its an embarassment. So tell me something I don't know please.
You can put tons of money into anything to make it better, but why would I want to, if I can already buy something that beats them in every catogory? Give me some reasons why I should by a Harley that make sense, not the bullshit you have spewed so far.
And sorry teshore, I don't wear a skirt, and I am not bi or gay so I definately am not your type of guy!
If your that intimidated by rocket bikes, I would watch out for them, as you don't want to **** the rocket guys off, showing your pic online is sometimes a dangerous thing. If your that proud of your bike, fine I can respect that, but also respect the other bikes as well dude.

If jap cruises are so great how come they copy harleys? Why don't they come out with their own designs/ideas? Look at Yamaha...They are trying harder and harder to make their cruisers look like harleys. Why buy a copy when you can afford the original.
I would be more likely to buy a jap bike if they came up with their own ideas.

How fast would you consider fast enough? How do you compare speed? Top end? Off the line? Why are you looking at cruisers if your concerned about performance?

shaft drive?
fuel injection?
on and on and on and on!
What I dislike about Harley, is the lack of evolution, my God the tires they come with, the suspension and the lack of decent brakes!! I have yet to be impressed by any of these and Harley has had almost 100 years to get it right, yet the Japanese can do it with a copy?? WTF is wrong with you not to see this.
I have friends that bug me to buy a Harley as I have one of almost everything else. SO I thought I'd go on to see what you people like about them, and you start bashing me when I point out their weaknesses. I didn't expect to blow egos apart this easily! WOW
